UK university researchers

Royce Catalyst is a new educational entrepreneurial learning programme designed to help expand the UK’s capacity for advanced materials commercialisation. It is open to researchers across the UK from academia and industry. It is non-credit bearing and extracurricular.

Course Description

1)     Deposit: Due 10^th December 2025

A £50 personal deposit is due from all successful applicants to secure a place once an offer has been made.

With the exception of students who are awarded a scholarship, this deposit is deducted from the applicable programme fee.

 

2)     Course Fees: Due 12^th January 2026

1. UK university researchers – £1,150
   PhD students, postdocs, early-career academics, and technical staff at UK universities.
2. International university researchers – £1,750                                                   
   PhD students, postdocs, early-career academics, and technical staff at universities outside of the UK.
3. Professionals – £3,450
   Industry researchers, start-up employees, corporate R&D staff, or others not currently employed in a university research environment.

Please note, your deposit has been deducted from the course fee.

For participation in Royce catalyst, there is the option to pay the course fees in a singular instalment, or in three equal instalments:

·        Instalment 1: 12 January 2026

·        Instalment 2: 2 March 2026

·        Instalment 3: 20 April 2026
