Royce Catalyst is an applied entrepreneurial learning programme for PhD, postdoctoral & early career researchers, as well as industry professionals. Working in teams on live materials projects from inventors, participants explore the commercial potential of advanced materials technologies while developing entrepreneurial mindsets and skills.

Course Description

A £50 personal deposit is due from all successful applicants to secure a place once an offer has been made.

UK university researchers – £1,200
PhD students, postdocs, early-career academics, and technical staff at UK universities.

 

International university researchers – £1,800                                                   

PhD students, postdocs, early-career academics, and technical staff at universities outside of the UK.

 

Professionals – £3,500
Industry researchers, start-up employees, corporate R&D staff, or others not currently employed in a university research environment.

 

There is the option to pay the course fees in a singular instalment, or in three equal instalments:

·       Instalment 2: 25th September 2026

·       Instalment 3: 30^th October 2026
