The annual conference offers a premium forum for academics, researchers and practitioners in the UK and beyond to present their research on developments and applications in computational mechanics.

ACME SCHOOL (Optional)

The 2nd ACME School will be held from 14pm to 18pm 26th March 2012. It is free to all the conference participants. The lecturers and topics are:

• Generalised continua and scale effects
  Professor Carlo Sansour, University of Nottingham
• Extended Finite Element Method
  Professor Stephene Bordas, University of Cardiff
• Computational Fluid Mechanics and Wave Impact on Structures
  Dr Dongfang Liang, Cambridge University

Please note that although the registration for ACME School is free to all 2012 ACME UK Conference participants, an extra charge of £30 will be charged to cover the costs of materials, buffet lunch and dinner.
