The International Total Survey Error Workshop is an annual workshop held at leading institutions in the US and Europe since 2005. The last workshop was held on June 10-12, 2019 at the University of Bergamo, Italy and before that on June 4-6, 2018 at the University of North Carolina, Durham, US. The workshop brings together survey researchers, practitioners, and methodologists (especially in national statistics offices) to foster exchange of ideas and preliminary research findings toward a better understanding of total survey error.
The leading sponsors are RTI International and Westat in the US and they fund travel and accommodation for keynote speakers.
The scientific committee is composed of 8 individuals who select presentations from among submitted abstracts and organize the programme.
