In the event of such a cancellation, the University will refund the value of the booking, or any ticket sold upon proof of purchase. The University expressly excludes any liability for any direct or indirect losses or damages howsoever arising as a result of such cancellation and will not, for example, be responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred. In the event of cancellation, the University will use reasonable endeavours to publicise the cancellation and details will be posted on the website associated with the Conference. Attendees are responsible for checking this information regularly, prior to the event. Wherever possible, the University will endeavour to contact delegates by email in the event of cancellation.
Cancellation by you (the delegate) We will refund the value of the booking, or any ticket sold upon proof of purchase when cancellation takes place no later than 17:00 UK on Friday 13th January 2023 (60 days before the conference start date). No refunds will be given for cancellations requested after 17:00 UK on Friday 13th January 2023, or for non-attendance without notification, unless a refund is made entirely at the discretion of the University. Any conference registrations paid after 17:00 UK on Friday 13th January 2023 are non-refundable. This is inclusive of all conference packages offered at registration, including those with accommodation and/or dinner.
The notice of cancellation must be made in writing, by email to the conference team at [email protected]. The date and time of the email will be taken as the date and time of cancellation.
We can transfer your booking to another name, should you wish to send someone in your place. To request this change, please notify the conference team at [email protected] no later than 1 week prior to the conference start date (17:00 UK, Wednesday 8th March 2023); any name changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
