Formulation in Forensic Mental Health Practice
Formulation in Forensic Mental Health Practice - August 2017
Clinical case formulation represents a means whereby specific areas of clinical need, or risk assessment, can be developed, understood and communicated effectively. It is identified as an essential practice model by many clinical disciplines. In this session participants will be invited to consider the role of formulation in their clinical practice, while exploring this understanding from a variety of different theoretical perspectives. The experience of participants will be drawn upon to allow a multi-disciplinary understanding of formulation to be developed.
