Suicidal Behaviour in Secure Environments: Assessment, Formulation and Management

This workshop aims to develop understanding, knowledge and practice, regarding self-harm/suicidal behaviour in secure environments, from a research, theoretical and psychological perspective.

The training will enable participants to understand how to approach the assessment, formulate a suicidal episode and consider suitable interventions for care and risk management. Some consideration will be given to personal impact of managing suicidal behaviour, including the importance of self-care and resilience. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
